i'm sure i've mentioned on here how pam garrison is such an inspiration to me, i have been following her blog for 8 years, well next week i get to take a 3 day art journaling course with her, she is actually coming to the little town i live in, Huntersville, NC to teach. I still can't believe it and i cant' wait to learn new techniques from her and find new art supplies and just to meet her.
So i have been looking through my journals old and new from the past couple of years. Some are really large and others smaller which is what i'm liking now. Some are finished and others i may come back to, but sometimes i like an unfinished page....
That IS exciting..Perect for you!!
ReplyDeleteThere is a spring in your step:)
I am sure that is where past clients of mine live:)
Dear Jenni - this is super news. I bet you are excited. It was wonderful seeing all your journals here as well. Such a treat. Hope you have a wonderful time at your workshop.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing what you create! Being able to take a class from someone we admire is such a great opportunity. Very, very happy for you!
ReplyDeleteMy first time visit... and I'm sooooo very glad I found your link. You have a beautiful blog. And I think we share some kindred spirit for you mention Victoria magazine, Aude Kamlet, roses, pansies, lilacs, The Secret Garden.....
ReplyDeleteI look forward to visiting some of your older posts... and I want to wish you a lovely time with Pam, your creative inspiration.
Wishing you glimpses of heaven in unexpected places....

Wow Jenni, what a great opportunity! I am so jealous! I love your journal style as it is so shall look forward to seeing what you create after the workshops! I never add to finished pages but do go back and reminisce! One thing I mean to do is date a completed page as I often work randomly if I mop up ink or paint. Have fun!, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteOk, well I guess you just answered my question on your last post! Pam is the best teacher and I hope you get to look through her journals. So inspired! I have taken other classes from her but never a journaling class! You are so fortunate that she came to your small town. I'd love for her to come where I am!
