This afternoon I was looking at this april 1995 issue of Victoria that I bought on ebay and I was happy to run across an article about Aude Kamlet, someone who did a lot of illustrating for Victoria through the years and shes been an inspiration of mine and this article was about her garden journal so now of course I am inspired to start a garden journal this year. I've always done drawings in my sketchbooks but I want a journal where I also write down notes and lists and whats blooming when. It's just a little patio garden but I still think it will be a lot of fun and keep me busy this summer.
I hope I have that one:)Her name is not unfamiliar to me..
ReplyDeleteLove your journals..
Could you start seeds indoors? In a sunny window?Or cuttings?
It would make for great garden journaling..me thinks:)
Enchanted April..Clematis.. all favorite words of mine.
Hi Monique, Thank you, One year I did start pansy seeds indoors and that worked out really well, I've been forgetting to try that again and the season gets away from me too fast, but I definitely need to try again. I hope your able to start gardening soon where you are :)

DeleteJenni - you and I must be enjoying the same things. I too have been practicing lettering within my journals...such fun. Your flowers are lovely and I just can't wait to see your garden journal with notes. You layout your pages so well and they are beautiful. Sounds like a wonderful article about Aude Kamlet...may have to google her. Have a lovely day and thank you for touching mine with some spring.
