i'm starting to think of my sketchbooks as visual gratitude journals especially through this difficult time where sketching my favorite things is making me happier. I also want to thank everyone so much for your positive thoughts and kind words, it means so much to me.
this is a sketch of my garden journal that will be in the upcoming Somerset Studio magazine in the expressions section at the back, i didn't know about it so it came as a very happy surprise.
I think a lot of the time my favorite part is adding in the different types of lettering, i feel like it always brings the page together for me. Time to get back to more sketching :)
Thanks again...

a new nature sketchbook
a new size and shape of a sketchbook, i can't wait until it's a little warmer again and i can take it outside with me....
I also wanted to mention something a little personal, its a stressful time now and its been six months of family loss, my grandparents and my uncle and difficult issues surrounding these family members and its all culminating into a lot of stress right now and i wanted to ask if you could send positive thoughts, it would be very much appreciated \, Thank You :)

some painted pages...
This is a new little 5x9 journal that i am doing painted pages inspired by the journals of rae missigman, she does a lot of painted layers that i love right now.
and a couple of pages in my doodle art journal from the past few months, i need to start journaling in this one again, i just have too many styles of journals that i like and sometimes i go awhile without playing in some. It changes all the time depending on what inspires me, but i don't like it feeling so chaotic.
