I decided to put together an inspiration journal which is filled with images that I have had in a spiral notebook that is beginning to fall apart after having it for almost 20 years that I had filled with all my fave images from Victoria and Country Living and I have decided that I want it in a bound moleskine. I am also adding in my favorite floral sketches from a sketchbook that i started 10 years ago and then I am adding in my favorite current images and things i love on pinterest plus my favorite inspirational quotes into a journal that i hope to treasure for years to come, so here are some of my first pages.....

DeleteI came upon your blog post and when I read the about me section, I felt like I found a friend. I also love art journaling (have taken Dina Wakely, Dyan Reaveley, Kelly Kilmer, Julie Nutting and Dee Dee Catron classes). I am learning to sketch and like the idea of urban sketching. My favorite flowers are roses (I was born in the City of Roses-Portland OR and lilacs (another month and my huge bush will be blooming!). I have more books than I will ever be able to read! I am trying to focus on books about art, art journaling, sketching, Paris, fashion design and books by Danielle Steel and Ruth Ware. I absolutely love hot choocolate-plain, whipped cream or marshmallows. I just set a keurig up in my office with hot chocolate pods. I could open my own craft store with all my craft supplies. I came across an old newspaper article today that said Dollar Tree was like a penny arcade for adults. I hope you continue your blog as I will be out here reading. Nice to "meet" you!
